Alice Weiss Doyel, M.S. - Founder and President
Alice is the founder of
BOLD Consulting
Group where she heads the consulting
practice specializing in operations management for small businesses.
BOLD Consulting
Group
collaborates with a network of associate firms to provide a full range of
services for small business owners needing to improve or expand their operations,
marketing, financial management, or computer technology.
In 1984 Alice began consulting to small businesses when she founded Doyel
Computer Consulting, Inc. For 11 years this company focused on providing
customized business and computer consulting services for small businesses.
In 1991, Alice and her husband founded a national human resources consulting firm,
Effective Compensation, Incorporated which they sold in 2001. As
CFO, she was instrumental in the company’s evolution from start-up
through maturity. The firm’s consulting services expanded in 1996 when
Alice began small business development consulting for people with
disabilities.
Alice wrote the book,
No More Job Interviews! Self-Employment Strategies for People with Disabilities.
She was a national speaker, consultant, and advocate on
self-employment for people with disabilities. She headed the Colorado
Small Business Initiative, a coalition of organizations whose focus was
to enhance small business ownership for people with disabilities; and
she was a member of the Small Business Administration Roundtable on
Self-Employment for People with Disabilities.
Alice holds a B.S. in Business Administration from
Miami University, and an M.S. in Communication Disorders from the
University of Texas at Dallas.
Gail Widmer Keeler - Facilitator

Gail has exceptional office organizational skills,
including systems development, office management, and scheduling. She
has had 17 years experience as an office manager for small businesses,
including a secretarial service, water damage restoration and general
contracting service, and a fine crafts manufacturer of kaleidoscopes.
Gail is also a fine crafts artist, specializing in fiber arts and
basketry. She sponsors and participates in semi-annual fine art and
craft shows with fellow artisans.
Gail was a founder and board member of Shadow Mountain Center for the Arts and Humanities in Conifer, Colorado. For several years she functioned as the Center's pro bono director. Her duties included developing the organization's mission statement and goals, facilitating the process and qualifications for 501(c)3 status, developing special programs for the Shadow Mountain Art Galley, promoting and directing Shadow Mountain art fairs, assisting with the development of the Conifer Stage Door Theater, networking with the Scientific and Cultural Facilities District and Colorado Council for the Arts, and assisting in grant writing.
Gail has an Associates Degree in Marketing from Bryant & Stratton Business Institute (Buffalo, NY). She attended SUNY Oswego with a concentration in Education, and studied Gerontology at the University of Buffalo.
